Price lists and quantity tiers

Quantity discounts Free

In Product data > GaugeQuote > Charges and quantities, click Add a quantity discount. Enter a quantity and a percent. From that quantity, the piece price drops by that percent.

Example: 10 percent from 5 pieces. A panel at 72.20 costs 64.98 each from 5 pieces.

Customer price lists Pro

Go to WooCommerce > GaugeQuote Pro > Price lists and click Add a price list.

  • Name
  • Adjustment %: changes every price setting of the product and the formula lines. Write -10 for 10 percent off.
  • Material prices: replace a material's own price for this list.
  • Quantity discounts: replace the product's own. Write "minimum quantity:percent off", for example 10:5, 50:10. Leave empty to keep the product's own. Write none for no discounts.
  • For user roles: optional.

Who gets which list

  1. The list chosen on the customer's user profile (Users > Edit user > GaugeQuote price list).
  2. If none, the first list for one of the customer's user roles.
  3. If none, normal prices.

Example

A "Trade" list at -10. The plate from the DXF example costs 6.11 for a guest and 5.50 for a trade customer: each line is scaled, then rounded (0.72 + 1.63 + 0.90 + 2.25).

Caching

Pages with price lists are personal. Do not cache pages for logged-in customers.
